Frustrating is the numbers on the clock.
Frustrating is the fact I haven't fallen asleep yet.
Frustrating is the 409 that popped up on the meter.
Frustrating is that fact that the corrections aren't working.
And what is also frustrating is that at the same time, I have crying in stereo. One is teething. One has night terrors.
Frustrating is being outnumbered by children that need you in the hours that you should be sleeping.
Oh man :( I must say, I had it "easy" in this department since my girls are 3.5 years apart and Maddi was the youngest with Diabetes....you are super Mom ya know, especially for not letting the F words fly in the post of venting! ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteOMG...thinking of you and hoping things settled down enough for you to get some sleep! xoxo
ReplyDeletethat sounds horrible. Is it weird/mean that I am thankful that I only have one of those occurring right now. We were just looking at photos of a trip to the ocean and I remembered it vividly as it was when Ethan started having night terrors, nothing like your child waking up screaming at the top of his lungs while in a hotel. Hope this stage goes quickly for you guys, not the night checks, but the other parts :) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteFrustrating indeed. Hope that the next night diabetes behaves and the little two are so exhausted from this night's antics that they sleep right through:)
